The U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, chaired by John Boozman, is set to release legislative text today outlining its approach to regulating the crypto market structure, excluding stablecoins. This move follows the committee's January 13 announcement and precedes a scheduled markup on January 27.

Originally slated for January 15, the hearing was delayed to January 21 to allow for greater transparency and thorough scrutiny. The draft text will offer crypto market participants a high-level overview of key issues, reflecting two weeks of negotiations between Chairman Boozman (R-AR) and Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ).
